We would like to announce Connections 2019 - a pre-IETF India forum will be held on 13-14th Nov 2019 in Kolkata.
IIESoc was established with the mission to bridge the gap between Internet standards and India. We have been working towards increasing awareness of Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) Standards and participation from India.
Connections is our key annual event on Internet standards and computer networking that happens a week before the south asian iteration of IETF meeting. See our past event details at here and here.
This year Connections is coming to Kolkata for the very first time. It will be a two day event with in-depth technical tracks on Internet of Things (IoT), Internet Security, Routing and Research. See the Conference website . This aims to be a common forum for computer networking professionals, academics and network operators to interact with experienced IETFers. We have some prominent international speakers including Fred Baker (former IETF chair), Adrian Farrel (Former Routing AD, ISE), Mohit Sethi (Chair of EMU & LWIG WG, Ericsson, Finland) and Nalini Elkins (CEO, Inside products). More information about speakers and programme.
Early bird tickets for the event are available till 21st Oct 2019. A bulk discount of 15% can also be availed for purchase of 5 or more tickets. A deep discounted ticket for full time students is also available. See tickets.
This event is sponsored by Juniper Networks and Internet Society with local support from India Internet Foundation (IIFon).
Please use the flyer for the event for further circulation with your colleagues and friends. We hope to facilitate an environment to learn as well as network with eminent IETF legends and welcome your active participation towards it.
See you in Kolkata.
